Was the vaccine not able to hold on to its promise? This had really baffled me.
I hope to get some light. Thanks and more power.

Meditalk: Am I at risk of Covid after vaccination?
April 26, 2021
DEAR Dr. Fritz,
Good day. I am quite concerned because I have read lately from SunStar Manila that 24 vaccinated persons had died and 11 of them died from Covid-19. I understand that the vaccination is supposed to protect us from getting severe Covid. But, why are these 11 people got Covid after vaccination and died? Was the vaccine not able to hold on to its promise? This had really baffled me.
I hope to get some light. Thanks and more power.

During the day of the vaccination, I was still anxious. But I thought of the very need of it since I am at high risk of acquiring other diseases due to my co-occurring ...

It was also an anti-climax on a show where Hopkins wasn’t present to accept the trophy. Joaquin Phoenix’s reading of his name was the last dramatic moment of a ...

How long does protection from Covid-19 vaccines last?
April 26, 2021
NEW YORK -- How long does protection from Covid-19 vaccines last?
Experts don't know yet because they're still studying vaccinated people to see when protection might wear off. How well the vaccines work against emerging variants will also determine if, when and how often additional shots might be needed.
“We only have information for as long as the vaccines have been studied,” said Deborah Fuller, a vaccine researcher at the University of Washington. “We have to study the vaccinated population and start to see, at what point do people become vulnerable again to the virus?”

Malilong: Scary
April 26, 2021
As expected, we ran out of Covid-19 vaccines. It did not take long to happen. We simply did not have a lot to begin with.
Now, we wait for our next allocation from Manila. Again, it will not be much, perhaps even less than what we got when we grandly announced a rollout. The news is that only 500,000 doses of Sinovac arrived from China last week. How much will our share be? Go figure. “Rollout” was a misnomer.
But do not despair. More doses will be coming as vaccine manufacturers ramp up production to meet the world demand ...
