THE slow opening up of the economy in 2021 should bode well for all businesses in general, listed firm LT Group Inc. president and chief operating officer Michael Tan said.

LTG expects the demand for consumer goods, those of Tanduay Distillers Inc. and Asia Brewery Inc. to show some volume growth or at least remain steady. But the volume of PMFTC Inc.’s products might still be impacted, as price increases are needed to pass on the annual increase in excise taxes, the last of which was in October 2020.

Limpag: Politics, optics and sports

May 05, 2021

One of my favorite stories involving Edgar Labella was when he was on his first few weeks as the newly elected Cebu City mayor. He didn’t change his routine and so he was at the Cebu City Sports Center for his regular exercise.

He passed by one worker who was hard at work in the field.

He passed him once, twice and noticing that he was alone, curiosity got the better of him.

“Ikaw ra usa ga-trabaho diri? (You are the only one working here)?” the mayor reportedly asked the guy, who told a guy who told me of ...

This type of battery though tends to show serious issues with stability, and the formation of dendrites quickly leads to short-circuiting or heavy performance loss.

Solid-state batteries, most often incorporating ...
